About this letter
The Wedel Letter is an essay, published on the first and third Thursday of each month, about whatever currently has my full attention. One issue might take on the Fed; the next, a book worth arguing about, the inside of the legal profession, the strange ways property changes hands, or whatever I have been researching at two in the morning.
There is no beat here. The only rule is that I have done the digging before I write.
